The film
First of all, let’s mention that the film was directed by Dave Green while the production was entrusted to Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, Galen Walker, and Scott Mednick. It should be also mentioned that the script was written by Josh Appelbaum and Andre Nemec. The entire film is based on the comics called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles that are written by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The film was distributed by Paramount Pictures and the release date was on the 22nd May in 2016. The film’s duration is 112 minutes and the budget was $135 million while the film made $245.6 million in the box office.
The cast
We should mention that the role and voice of Leonardo were given to Pete Ploszek. Let’s just remember that Leonardo is the best and the leader of the group of turtles. It should be also added that his combat weapon is katana.
Furthermore, Jeremy Howard is playing the character of Donatello. This character is best known for being the smartest one and the most intelligent one. He is the one that brings the scientific gadgets and accessories to the best use. He uses bo-staff as his combat weapon.
Alan Ritchson is Raphael and this character is mostly typical for being a hot-head who easily gets triggered to use sai, which is his combat weapon.
Noel Fisher is giving his voice to Michelangelo. This character is best known for his love towards pizza and he is also known to be one of the most light-hearted characters in the film. He is the one who makes jokes and brings all the fun.
Splinter is made out of two people Peter D. Badalamenti (motion-capture) and Tony Shalhoub (voice). Splinter is the known teacher and spiritual leader of the group, and he is actually a man who was transformed into a mouse. His wisdom and patience are making turtles what they are now.
Gary Anthony Williams was entrusted the role of Bebop and he is a criminal who helps Shredder in fulfilling his criminal and conquest ambitions.
The second negative character is Rocksteady who is played by Sheamus
Brad Garett is Krang, the leader of all negative actions in the film and the one who is trying to conquer the Earth and the entire universe.
April O’Neil is played by Megan Fox. April is a reporter who not only works at Channel 6 but she also helps turtles in saving the world.
